Accidents can occur and you must know how to deal with these cases. Firstly, remember to always follow basic safety measures and where necessary, call the emergency services as a first option.
Once you have followed these basic steps, review and document with photos the state of the vehicles, where possible completing the accident report with the other party and/ or calling the police to open a report.
In some countries it is mandatory for the Police to provide a report to be able to claim compensation, so for your own wellbeing, we always recommend calling for police assistance.
If the vehicle has only superficial damage and can continue being driven, all you need to do is ensure that we receive the accident report within 10 days. It can be handed in at our store or sent to by clicking here.
If the vehicle is immobilised as a result of the accident, call Roadside Assistance and request a tow truck and taxi.
